Mortality from breast cancer is declining in most countries thanks to effective screening programs, early diagnosis, molecular characterization of the different subtypes and biology-driven treatments. A multidisciplinary management of breast cancer patients is therefore the key to success and a breast multidisciplinary team should include – besides the “classic” clinical specialties – pathologists, molecular biologists and geneticists. Furthermore, the availability of multiple diagnostic and therapeutic choices, the increasing costs of new technologies and drugs and the issue of sustainability represent a new challenge for socially-responsible clinicians. With this goal in mind, the Programme includes lectures on molecular characterization, updated treatments of early and advanced disease, management of difficult cases and hereditary syndromes and issues of sustainability and drug access across countries.

Clinical case discussions and debates are planned to allow a continuous and fruitful exchange of experiences and opinions between speakers and participants. In order to reward scientific excellence and to foster international cooperation, the International Scientific Committee of the 16th AIBCC will award the 10th International Prize for Breast Cancer Research to a scientist who has published a breakthrough paper in the previous year. We also welcome the presentation of posters from participants and the best poster will be awarded during the Award Ceremony.

In caso di rinuncia, si prega di informare tempestivamente Accademia. Se la rinuncia avviene entro il 10° giorno precedente la data di inizio dell’evento, la quota versata sarà restituita con la detrazione del 30%. Per completare l'attività di formazione e ottenere i relativi crediti ECM, occorre soddisfare tutte le seguenti condizioni:

1. Appartenere ad una professione/disciplina corrispondente a quelle previste dall'accreditamento ECM;
2. Partecipare al webinar live per tutta la durata prevista (NB guardare le registrazioni non è sufficiente);
3. Compilare on-line la scheda di valutazione dell’evento che viene resa disponibile al termine del webinar live entro e non oltre la mezzanotte del 3° giorno successivo a quello in cui si è svolta l'attività formativa;
4. Superare con successo il test di verifica dell’apprendimento entro e non oltre la mezzanotte del 3° giorno successivo a quello in cui si è svolta l'attività formativa. Il test consiste in un questionario a risposta multipla con una sola risposta corretta per ciascuna domanda. Sono consentiti un massimo di 5 tentativi ed è considerato superato con successo quando si risponde correttamente ad almeno il 75% delle domande.

Al completamento del percorso sarà possibile scaricare l’attestato di partecipazione e, per gli aventi diritto, l'attestato con i crediti ECM.

Nota Bene

La piattaforma permette di compilare la scheda di valutazione dell'evento digitale e di svolgere il questionario di valutazione dell'apprendimento a tutti gli utenti con una presenza non inferiore al 75% della durata di ogni singola sessione costituente l'evento digitale. Questa stessa condizione deve essere soddisfatta per poter scaricare l'attestato di partecipazione.

Per poter ottenere i relativi crediti ECM è necessaria, inoltre, una presenza non inferiore al 90% della durata complessiva dell'evento digitale.

Esempio

Nel caso di un evento digitale costituito da due webinar da 2 ore, per poter compilare la scheda di valutazione dell'evento digitale, svolgere il questionario di valutazione dell'apprendimento, e scaricare l'attestato di partecipazione è sufficiente che l'utente sia presente per almeno il 75% di ciascuna webinar, ovvero per almeno 1,5 ore di ciascun webinar.

Questa condizione è necessaria, ma non sufficiente per poter conseguire i crediti ECM. Per poter conseguire i crediti ECM, oltre alle altre condizioni applicabili, l'utente deve essere presente per almeno il 90% delle 4 ore di durata complessiva dell'evento digitale, ovvero per almeno 3 ore e 36 minuti nell'arco delle due sessioni.
